PD Opportunity for High School Civics Teachers

Teachers will be provided an overview of the federal court system, participate in a mock trial on a federal case and receive plenty of resources to use in the classroom. The mock trial will be held on Elonis v. U.S. This case is first time that the Supreme Court of the United States agreed to hear a case involving the constitutionality of prosecuting potential threats in a social media context.
