Ohio high school stu­dents argue an orig­i­nal case in real court­rooms across the state.  Ohio’s Mock Trial pro­gram is among the largest in the na­tion.

Moot Court

Moot Court fo­cuses on the ap­pel­late court process:  stu­dents pre­sent a sim­u­lated oral ar­gu­ment and re­spond to ques­tions posed by a panel of vol­un­teer judges.

 


We the People High School 

This video will show you how to get started and learn about student benefits, hearing structure, scoring details, resources, and more.

 


We the People Middle School

An in­struc­tional pro­gram based on the his­tory and prin­ci­ples of the United States con­sti­tu­tional democ­racy for mid­dle school stu­dents, cul­mi­nat­ing in sim­u­lated con­gres­sional hear­ings.

 


Youth For Justice  

Teams of mid­dle school stu­dents through­out Ohio re­search prob­lems of in­jus­tice in their schools and com­mu­ni­ties and work with elected of­fi­cials, school boards, or school ad­min­is­tra­tors to im­ple­ment their so­lu­tions. 


Ohio Government in Action 

An an­nual two-day work­shop spe­cially de­signed to give teach­ers an in­sider’s view of state gov­ern­ment.
