OPERATIONS & ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR
Organization
The Ohio Center for Law-Related Education (OCLRE) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that provides civics, law, and government programming and curricula to teachers and students throughout the state (approx. grades 6-12). All OCLRE programs align with Ohio Learning Standards and are designed to promote civic education and participation.
Job Purpose
Manage front office operations, providing a blend of constituent support, CRM administration, and clerical tasks. Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating CRM systems; processing registrations, orders, and invoices; answering/directing inquiries (phone, email); managing calendars; and organizing office records to ensure smooth daily operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a small, mission-driven nonprofit environment. This role requires someone who communicates professionally, follows through reliably, and approaches new challenges with curiosity, flexibility, and a problem-solving mindset.
Experience with CRM systems, accounting or invoicing software, and Microsoft Office 365 is preferred, but direct experience with every system is not required. Strong candidates should be comfortable learning new technology, maintaining accurate records, and using digital tools to support daily operations, communications, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Constituent Support (CSR):

Maintain and update CRM system; create intake forms, generate reports to support colleagues, constituents and the overall operations and mission of the organization

Assist constituents by answering questions via phone calls and emails

Serve as point of contact for shared external vendors

Track and work to resolve constituent issues, complaints, and service requests promptly

Process all registrations, orders, and account updates

- Administrative Support:
-
Process A/R (invoicing and payments); maintain accuracy and integrity of related data

Work with accountant to regularly review reports, including but not limited to month-end and invoice aging

Maintain company filing systems

Manage shared OCLRE inbox and funnel inquiries to appropriate program staff

Schedule meetings, reserve meeting rooms, order supplies, and place catering orders

Hours and Benefits
Full-time, non-exempt position designed to support the organization at a minimum of 30 hours/week, with consistent schedule during standard working hours. Employee can expect the possibility for occasional weekly schedule adjustments during peak program times. OCLRE follows a hybrid schedule with staff reporting to the office two days per week on average.
Salary range: $30,000 - $39,000, depending upon experience.
Full benefits package includes health insurance coverage and Paid Time Off (PTO), along with 10 paid holidays per year.
